The Singapore Global Investor Programme (GIP) grants Permanent Residency to established business owners, founders and family office principals who invest S$10 million in a new or existing Singapore business (Option A), S$25 million in a GIP-select fund (Option B), or establish a Singapore Single Family Office with at least S$200 million under management, of which at least S$50 million is deployed in Singapore (Option C). PR through this route grants family inclusion, access to Singapore’s business ecosystem, and a potential pathway to citizenship after holding PR for two years. Singapore’s political stability, low crime rates, and world-class infrastructure make it an ideal destination for investors seeking both lifestyle and business opportunities.

Submit the GIP application with supporting documents to the Economic Development Board (EDB), with the S$10,000 non-refundable application fee.
EDB assesses the applicant's track record, company financials and proposed investment; processing takes around 12 months.
Interview with EDB if shortlisted.
Make the investment within the six-month validity of the approval-in-principle.
Receive Final Approval once the investment is in place.
Complete PR formalities with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority within 12 months and receive a five-year Re-Entry Permit.

What it takes to qualify.
Clean criminal record.
Qualify under one of the four GIP applicant profiles below.
Established business owner: at least 3 years' track record, company turnover of at least S$200 million in the last year and on average over the last 3 years, and at least 30% shareholding (Options A, B or C).
Founder of a fast-growth company valued at S$500 million or more, backed by reputable venture capital or private equity investors (Options A, B or C).
Next-generation business owner, where the immediate family's company turnover is at least S$500 million (Option C only).
Family office principal with net investible assets of at least S$200 million, real estate excluded (Option C only).
Option A investments must be in an approved industry; Re-Entry Permit renewal tests the investment, employment (Options A and C) and residence conditions.
