Saskatchewan – SINP Entrepreneur Program
SINP Entrepreneur Program was designed to help the Saskatchewan Government to nominate interested individuals who intend to obtain or partner in a business in Saskatchewan. Such individuals need to be actively involved in managing that business while residing in Saskatchewan.
To be eligible under this program
- You must have a minimum Net Worth of $500,000 CAD
- You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in business owner or senior management experience during the past 10 years prior to the submission of application
- You must invest a minimum of CAD $300,000 in Regina and Saskatoon OR a minimum of CAD$200,000 in all other Saskatchewan communities.
The Process
- Submit your Expression of Interest (EOI). Remember, EOI is not an application. It is only an expression of your interest to relocate to Saskatchewan. In the EOI you need to indicate your interest in operating your business and living in Saskatchewan. You need to provide required information about your experience, your assets and your Business plan among others.
- If you satisfy the minimum entry criteria, then your profile would be accepted into the EOI Candidate pool.
- Once submitted, you will be ranked using the points’ grid. (the points’ grid can be a link, clicking which the visitor should reach the Gov. website giving details about the points – as is in John hu’s website)
- You will have to submit your SINP Entrepreneur Approval Letter along with your application for a Temporary Work Permit with the Federal Government within 3 months of you getting the letter. This helps you to arrive in Saskatchewan within 12 months of receiving your SINP Entrepreneur Approval Letter

Once you arrive in Saskatchewan
- You have to meet a business service provider that XIPHIAS Immigration designates for you within 30 days of you arriving in Canada.
- Submit your Arrival Report Form and the list of documents
- Within 12 months of your landing date in Saskatchewan submit your Business Establishment Progress Report to the SINP Entrepreneur category.
- Once you arrive in Saskatchewan, you need to start establishing your business or purchase as is mentioned in your Business performance Agreement (BPA) on an immediate basis.
- To get your nomination, you need to satisfy the terms mentioned in your BPA within 2 years from the date of your TWP and also demonstrate operations of your business within 6 months of your arrival in Saskatchewan.
- Once you get your nomination, you can proceed to apply for your Permanent Residency with the Federal Government.
